The Lockheed fire is burning only a couple miles from the University Road Race course in Santa Cruz, and is still only 80% contained. With the race this Sunday, and smoke in the air, it could get canceled? It is a very unique race, and I really hope to do well there, so it would suck if its smokey.
However, I am racing a pancake flat road race tomorrow in San Ardo...time for some gutter riding!
